    Friends,

I'm not sure where this should go but I thought that our members might like to know about this deal.
(Feel FREE to move it if you wish.)

Classicfirearms.com has a BUNCH of VG to MINT 5906 pistols for sale at 299.oo each & they are NICE.
(The hand-picks look NEW, according to a friend who works there. - NO, I don't work for the company but am a HAPPY customer.)

I'm buying a PAIR of them & 2 extra magazines.

    yours, satx

    Southpaw,

I don't know what auction sites that you are referring to but the one that I looked at this PM have STARTING BIDS that are 30-40.oo MORE than a "hand-picked" 5906 from classic firearms sells for.

Completed auctions on Gunbroker. You would need an account to see them though. I'll post some later when I'm at my desktop.

Here are some of those recently completed auctions I mentioned..You can't really go by STARTING BID of active auctions as some of them relist over and over and never actually sell for what they are "starting" at.

    Sold $315 shipped- https://www.gunbroker.com/item/809547731
    Sold $319 shipped - https://www.gunbroker.com/item/810239472
    Sold $345 shipped- https://www.gunbroker.com/item/810450161
    Sold $360 shipped- https://www.gunbroker.com/item/813643288
    Sold $342 shipped- https://www.gunbroker.com/item/810740252

You get the idea. As I said, they are generally going for anywhere from $300 and $360 shipped. Factoring in shipping for Classic, their deal comes out to be right in that curve. But also as mentioned, auctions aren't for everyone and if you want it now, then the Classic deal isn't bad.

Darn it, I'm saving up for a new guitar. Why must you tempt me?

    Maverick44,

BEING a member of this forum makes you a convenient target for ENABLERS, like me for example.

Fwiw, when I gave up good Scotch by the case, I took up buying even better firearms, ammo & reloading stuff.
Fyi, I also spend a considerable amount of bucks on GOOD pastries & BETTER coffee, each week/month.
