    been looking at yukon night vision just the gen 1 to get my feet wet any one around san antonio have one? I would love to look at one at night before I order one.

    Sorry I don't have one but Gen 1 is really quite poor.
    You can simulate it by walking out at night with a pair of really dusty sunglasses on and holding a AA maglight.
    You can see people at 25yds, 50 not so much and 100 no way.
    There are better ways to "see" at night for less than $1000.

    You'll be really disappointed with anything less than gen II or gen II+. Some folks won't even touch anything that isn't gen III.

    I had a gen 1 and later stubbled onto a gen 3 scope. Man! the gen 3 is so much better. with a lot of moonlight the gen 1 is not bad , up to 100 yards but the gen 3 you can see the world

    we have a gen 2 here at the house but I would like something that is my own that I dont have much money into I would like to stay under 600$

    Your gonna have to double that honestly to get anything that isn't going to require an IR illuminator or a full moon to see anything well.
