Just finished it. Really great book. It is interesting to read how the actual raid and subsequent shooting on UBL went down.

Book titles are properly underlined. I guess we csnnot format thread titles?

Nope, can't on the thread titles.

Still haven't read the book yet. There do appear to be a number of other people from that community that seem to refute the exact recounting of events in this book, which I find interesting.

I'm pretty sure I've read all of the SEAL books. No Easy Day was very good. I think my fav was American Sniper, because it was a bit more "raw" and the last one I read, "Lone Survivor" was excellent as well. Dedicated, and extremely tough guys I'm happy they have our back.

I read No Easy Day shortly after its release, I felt it was one of the better books on SEAL operations. Most are too self-absorbed, this one was much less so. The depiction of events on the bin Laden raid are believable, I suspect this was an accurate portrayal of what happened...

I enjoyed the book also, believe there was a long thread on it a while back on here somewhere.

Also enjoyed the movie, Zero Dark Thirty. They are about the same thing, but different.

Finished it a couple months ago.

While the UBL raid was the highlight, I particularly enjoyed learning about a SEAL's journey to be at the right place, at the right time, with the right group and under the right circumstances.

The read was following 60 Minutes interview with the author.
