So, what do you think is going to happen? We have a destroyer shadowing them and anti missile ships around HA and AK they plan on launching them JULY 4. This guy is either a total nut (my thoughts) or he has the biggest set of cojones. that need to be taken off.!!!

    What do you think?

I'm worried/curious to see how this situation pans out. Obama stepped into office with war ontwo fronts (Iraq and Afghanistan) and now we are looking at another 2 possible fronts (Iran and N. Korea). We are spreading ourselves thin as it is. Maybe someone who has actually been in the military has a better opinion on that, but it worries me. Obama is the kind of person you follow...but only out of morbid curiosity.

I think we are spreading ourselves thin but also have no direction, clear intention, or experienced leader at the helm. The worst kind of spread.

I'd board. On tv last night, some talking head suggested using Singapore as a proxy.

Let the little tyrant shoot his rockets. China and Japan can deal with him.
As long as we (the US) keeps playing world peace keeper no other nation will commit and step in to save their own ass.
If his rockets make HI. then we have reason to engage. Otherwise those that are most effected by his actions needs to deal with the little snot ass tyrant!!!!

Obama will probably go over and talk to Kim Jong, and appologize for something and then Kim will give him his book to read, and they will sit around and sing cum by ya.

But seriously, our military is very spread out these days, and another conflict would leave a lot of holes. Not to mention what a shock and awe type attack costs in the way of missiles etc, which will just add on the the trillions we're already in the hole for.

I doubt China would jump into the quarrel. JP would if the threat is taken to their shores.

The US has allies in West Pac. It's all a matter of timing and the details of how or who, if and when.

Oh, I forgot about the CinC. Well, that's the biggest question.

Our 20 some odd thousand troops in South Korea and the South Korean Military and the Japanese Forces can't win a ground war against N Korea's
million man/woman army. We know it and they know it.

And the so called Commander in Chief and his feather merchants couldn't win a war against even the Chihuahua National guard. Mealy mouthed, foot shuffling, crooked, gutless, bought on credit turkeys...

One cure....Hydrogen Bomb on N Korea, Big one, a wipeout, problem solved, complete cleansing of their politics and their goose stepping
military !!!! Where in the hell are Generals Patton and Mc Arthur when we need them ?:patriot:

If we would have let Patton and Mc Arthur do what they wanted to do at the end of WW2 we would not be where we are today!

Agreed, a land war there won't go well.

A land war with them would be a costly endeavor in the way of lives lost. Sneaky little tyrants are on there own turf and would turn every tree and every bush into an ambush and then clean house in the aftermath.

We have a whole bunch of neutron bombs in our arsenal, thanks to Ronald Wilson Reagan's foresight.

Neutron bombs, for those of you born after 1978, are thermonuclear weapons that emit a very large amount of damaging neutron radiation but generate a relatively small amount of blast damage. Ignited at the proper altitude, they kill people but leave buildings and vehicles intact. Toss a few of these over the heads of that million man army and in about ten days you have a million man stew.

    Problem solved.

Unfortunately Ronald Reagan is no longer in the white house. The current occupant has neither the stones nor a clue.

This is the most unfortunate part of it. We lack a leader who has any sort of experience and he has chosen to surround himself by the most incompetent group of advisors he could.

    Send Borat.
Just heard that S. Korea is prepping for a first strike capability. Our war is still on just in armistice, which they have broken. Time to finish it. EMP or Neutron bomb.
