Went out this morning hoping to see some deer before the rain moved in, what i found was a young do that had gotten caught in the fence along the county road overnight. After a call to the game warden I put her down and tagged her. It was really a sad sight and about the hardest time I've ever had pulling the trigger. To bad she couldn't have made it a few more years.

Yeah it sucks when this happens. I have been seeing more hung up than normal this year, blame it on last winter being brutal followed by a devastating summer.

You still get to put the meat to use. This is far better than her going to waste.
