Speaking of no-shows, somebody had a very large booth reserved and even managed to ship in a vehicle to draw attention. Then they didn't show up. I wonder if this was Daniel Defense? I didn't take note of the booth number so I can't say for sure. It sure was a strange space though; it stuck out like a sore thumb.

I was surprised at the number of vendors who make or customize CZ75-lineage pistols. I expected CZ and EAA but there were at least a half dozen more, some of whom I didn't know existed.

I've always loved the Hi Power so I naturally had to check out the SA-35. I overheard the guy next to me tell his friend "I love everything about it except the fact that I can't find one of the damn things."

Does this go here or in the "Compliments" thread? :)

(For those who don't know what I'm talking about, skip it. That other thread is...uhh...not deserving of your attention.)

I'm kinda sorta of the opinion that nearly every modern rifle should wear quality optics and a suppressor. If you feel the same way, there were dozens of vendors to help you out.

That's not all my photos but these and the ones I posted Friday should give you a sense of the show.

If there are any questions and I happened to have run into someone who might know the answer, post 'em and I'll do the best I can.

I said there were thousands of protesters and I stand by that. But I just saw an NBC reporter say there were 50,000 protesters.

That wasn't just wrong, it was beyond stupid. I wonder just how gullible they think their viewers are?
I refuse to believe it unless Lester Holt himself tells me.

    Bwahahahaha, just kidding.
we don't even watch the #OldNews any longer.

I tried both flavors, and thought that the FN version had a slightly better trigger. Glad to see them back for an encore, but like your thoughts on modern rifles, I thought they should have released a "classic" version and a version that's optics-ready, threaded barrels, lower third co-witness, all that goodness. Maybe next year if things sell well

I was there Friday and Sunday. I got a chance to chat with Mike, MRgunsNgear at the brownells booth. Nice fella, I told him we need to get rid of WLP, and he mentioned his video of mike west. Also at the Brownells booth was Steve and Kaleb of smithbusters. Fun chatting with them. Kaleb only does media stuff, Steve still does tech stuff with brownells.

Black rifle coffee co was there Friday, I made a pit stop to get a cup of coffee.

When I went Friday afternoon, they blocked off one side of GRB. Annoyingly had to walk through discovery green and through the idiotic Beto speech to get to the other side to enter. I noticed Beto’s black caddy SUV was guarded by an armed guard during his speech about evil guns.

Tons of SWAG, the coolest was a savior pistol case. Note- see those carrying the biggest swag bag and go straight to that booth. Makes it easy to carry the rest of your goodies. SAR had this giant red tote bag you could put everything in.

Scored a T91 A1 Wolf Piston complete upper at their booth for $500.

The collector booths, about a dozen of them, were wonderful to me. I was in the minority, though, since most of the attendees didn't give them a second look.
I loved the collectors booths! I don't think there were as many this year as the last time they were in Houston, but it's always a lot of fun.
