She was beautiful woman before the piercings and ugly tattoos.
The article mentioned how there's a line. People generally aren't rejected for a tattoo or several but when they cover your face and neck and include other body mods, it can be too much.

    So, where's the line?

I wondered that until I became a fan of Jinjer. The singer, Tatiana Shmayluk is (or was?) a quite beautiful woman even though she had lots of ink.

Then she got the neck tattoo.

Is it just me or did that cross the line?

I think it did. I don't find her nearly as pretty anymore. The lines of her neck are broken up and the whole "flow" of her face is interrupted.

So I think I know where I draw the line.

    What do y'all think?

Face, neck and hands reads to me as lacking in good judgement. At least that's what I'm thinking when I file 13 their resume.

eta: that sounds more black and white than I intended. There are many occupations where it doesn't matter I suppose but, to me, is not appropriate for most white collar jobs.
When I interview a person I don't just look at a resume, I look at their grooming, the way they're dressed, not how fancy but clean, unwrinkled. I look at how they carry and conduct themselves.
Skill is only one part of it, you are going to an interview after all.
