Morning.

Awakened today by a piercing earache. I had it last week and poured in some Everclear which seemed to fix it for several days. But now it's back with a vengence. I got swimmer's ear a bunch when I was a kid so this is familiar territory. Somehow I thought I was past all that; it turns out I couldn't be more wrong. This is the first time I've had to deal with serious earaches in decades and they're just as bad as I remember from my youth.

I know the feeling. I had Strep Throat that went to my left ear as a teen. Any time the temps are low, it hurts. A lot. If cold wind blows over it, it hurts a lot more. Kind of like a red hot ice pick sticking in it.
Did I mention I hate the cold?
