    Mornin' y'all!

    Happy Independence Day!

Feel like I got the hell stomped out of me this mornin', moving slow. Need to go clean the pit, split wood, start a fire.

Got all the trenching done yesterday but they're delivering a building Monday. Have to chase supplies today and backfill tomorrow so they can get in with the building.

My old NEC book says I can carry 50a branch 150' UG on 4ga aluminum. That still good?

Good to see you yesterday EZ-E!
    Direct burial, yes.

    Edit,
I'm not full of coffee yet.
#4 aluminum is good for 100 amps.
If you're only pulling 50, you're good to go. Even in conduit.

Thanks Vaquero! I was hoping you'd be along soon. I was a shipyard electrician for a few years which is really stretching the term 'electrician'. Mostly worked on tower cranes, 3 phase motors, 400a shore power, etc.

I'm a lineman. Or was. Ran a lot of service wires though.

This boy is getting ready to come home Tuesday. This is at the end of his car seat test. I think the expression says it all.
