Having my first cup of coffee. Some slacker didn't make a fresh pot!

Looks like it's going to be a nice day today with the weather. In the mid 70's, sunshine and a light breeze. Going to go over and visit with my father a little later. Might even do some more mowing later this afternoon. In time to break for a some evening cold adult beverages!

    Sad thought . . .
I borrowed something from a buddy yesterday, returned it today.
Couldn't help but notice his American Flag out front was in absolute shambles.
No way he couldn't know, no doubt it had become 'the norm'.
Think I'll replace it, as a "thank you", when I suspect he's not home, fully aware he has surveillance cams.
A better idea may be to get him a new flag and help him replace it if he wants to.

That flag may have special meaning and he doesn't want it taken down.

Reminds me of the story of a borrowed rifle. To say thanks the borrower has it reblued and in the process removes all the honest wear and tear put on it by generations before. Bye bye sentimental value......

Or it may just be an old wore out flag. Sometimes you never know.
