Threaded muzzle brake with a housing around it. Baffles aren’t the ATF’s defining feature of a suppressor though.

Wonder what Sean Cody’s thoughts would be.
Hmmm - it only includes "portable firearms". I'm thinking an AR10 with the receiver welded to a pivoting rod with a gimbal. planted into the ground around my property. You trying to get me thrown in jail?

They do mention "any device for silencing, muffling, or diminishing the report of a portable firearm".
Here is the email they sent, see the heading.
    Maybe I'm reading it wrong.

Reading that, it sounds like redirection of the sound, rather than suppression, which possibly tricks a person into thinking it's quieter?

I'm just hoping there's some dove around. One of my boys came in from school in Lubbock Wednesday, brought his shotgun. Early season is running out - Hope to get a few this evening, but I got some excellent post-hunt beer for us anyway.
Send me the coordinates where you'll be hunting and drinking beer and I'll have my helo pilot take me there! Yo! :banana:Duvel is good for dove hunting!

Voted today. There was no line. I was in and out in 10 min max.

Used my LTC for ID. The lady checking me in was not amused.
Good for you! I voted early and got it over with! Piss on that lady being not amused. None of her damn business what ID you use! She was probably a flamin' liberal!

That's sad. Don't you wish you had kept the other boat now?

If wishes were horses, beggars would ride. ;)

Or, as my old Italian immigrant neighbor across the road (who parlayed a vegetable handcart into a grocery store) used to tell me when I was a kid:

"What you make on the grapes, you lose on the bananas"

Driving down to Houston Sunday for a 824 mile round trip to vote on Tuesday.
Just hoping I don't have to fight my way back ...

Duvel is the best beer I've ever drank! Not cheap, but that keeps me from buying much. I've only found it at liquor stores. Smooth and tasty. A four-pack of 12 oz. bottles is around $15, but it really is worth the money. They have a 24 oz. (?) bottle for somewhere around $11 (+/-).
