Everybody makes a better chicken fried steak than Hickory Hollow. Do they still put brown gravy on it?
Hmmmm well I'd certainly be down for some good ole BBQ. Also count me in for the monthly's. I'm in agreement with the others though; Old Town Spring isn't NW at all lol.
I'm in for the monthly and change location each time.
What would be the"center" of Houston, in order for us to decide compass coordinates?
For BBQ, Harris County Smokehouse at Hwy6/1960 @ 290 (next to Gander Mountain) is good with great ambiance.
Holy smokes, ok, no hickory hollow lol. Didn't even know they were in/famous for their chicken fried steak.
I still like Carriage House Cafe. Awesome ambiance, good food, good prices.

45 and 10 are the dividers. OTS is east of 45.
I like the idea if new location every month. I think Corkscrew is worth the extra 15min drive to have the 2nd best BBQ in Houston. And the best north of I10.
