It is difficult to comprehend the stupidity of the Democratic leadership in these puke states. By what measure do you determine that illegal aliens deserve luxury cruise ship lodging while hundreds of thousands of US citizens live in squalor within your city?

    It boggles the mind.

In my personal observation the illegals that I have seen are a better class of people than the druggie mental case "homeless". My observations are very limited though. After the hurricane we have a new definition of homeless.

They believe the illegals will bring more value to their agenda. If they put those illegals on cruise ships, eventually they can get homes, and mail in ballots. They may also pop out a few kids who they hope will vote democrat. They have little to gain by putting homeless on cruise ships unless they are shipping them somewhere else to get rid of them.

The left thinks very little of the illegals as people. But they do believe they are useful.

All I can say is that the cruise ship had better get a hell of a deal because their ship is about to become a torn up POS.

House the homeless on a cruise liner, and soon they will be living in squalor on a cruise liner.
    This

Very few people are homeless for very long that dont want to be. There are resources if they want them bad enough. Those people we should help. This isnt the great depression where 100000s of families are homeless but looking for work and struggling to survive.

There are groups of people who are just happy to get by onnthe fringes of society. We cant waste time or money on them. Like drug addicts, they have to want to fix themselves as no ammount of time or money can do it for them. Look at hotels full of homeless some city's have created. They nothing more than indoor shanty towns of drugs crime and black holes money flows into.

There are mentally ill people that will never submit to the care they need long term, how does society deal with that?

There actually criminally insane people who you see committing violence at will that need locked up but certain cities seem not to have the will to address the problem or run it out of town. Look at NYC and LA and the bay area.

You are basically forced into a decision of what to do with the last 2 groups. Force them into camps, essentially prisons or slums controlled by the government, allow them to congregate into their own slums thinking your being helpful or force them to spread out across the country not allowing these large camps to be created thus spreading out and lessening the burden on any one city.

Bottom line is you cant help people that dont want it. Society needs to decide if we are going to force treat mental illness in this situation which will essentially wherehouse those people. Otherwise you help who you can.

Just drop a hint the cruise ship will be heading to Panama as soon as s it's full. No one will go on the damn thing.

The "anchor babies" are the reason we need to bring a challenge to the 14th amendment interpretation that anyone born here, whether their parents are here legally or not, is wrong. The problem is so extensive that birth tourism has become an issue.

The amendment says "subject to the jurisdiction thereof". When they are here on a visa or illegally they are still foreign nationals and, subsequently any children of theirs born here are NOT U.S. citizens. Add the fact that no other country has automatic citizenship for the children of non-citizens in their county.

We need to put a stop to these shenanigans right now.

Has SCOTUS ever said that anchor babies are protected by 14a? My understanding is that they have only ever addressed citizenship rights when the parents were legally in the US, and that it was the immigration act of 1965 which required us to give citizenship to anchor babies. I think the law could be changed any time our government grows a set of balls and is willing to do it.
