My name is Ken, live near Galveston. I've been shooting seriously (as in spending lots of money) since about 2000, though I started as a kid in boy scouts and deer hunting with my Dad. Have been trolling the board for some time - much good info here.
While I am funemployed, I am spending more time at the range and reloading bench. 6.5x55 is my favorite load, also 308, 223, 30-06, 257 Roberts, and pistol. Did a little IDPA - just enough to teach me I need more practice.
