    It sure is.

    They sure can't.

    It sure does.

Hell yes they should, and they are making the most logical decision by hiring people who are willing to do the job for less money. If you believe in capitalism and the free market, then you should prove to them that your quality of work is better enough to justify the extra cost. If you don't believe in those things, then go back to Russia comrade.

I fail to see how taking responsibility for one's self vs. expecting the government to do things for you is "lazy".

I've never smoked anything even once in my life.

I have to say I wasn't expecting any agreement for my comparisons. Hell now that I think about we could save billions by getting rid of police and letting citizens take responsibility for enforcing their own laws. We could save billions more by dumping ambulances and other emergency services. Got a fire, put it out your damn self commie.

We should do away with laws that are difficult to enforce?

Umm...ya. If you were an investor, would you keep dumping money into a business that has shown no sign of success, or would you try to find a new way to make money? Also, many of these laws actually exacerbate the problems they are supposed to solve.

Illegal immigration and drug use are harmless?

Harmless to who? Illegal immigration is only harmful to you when an illegal immigrant is better at your job than you are or has a smaller ego than you. They wouldn't come here looking for work if they thought they had any competition. Drug use can currently only harm you in two ways. First, if you use dangerous drugs, but your body is yours and you have every right to harm it. Second, if you are an innocent bystander to some sort of drug-related crime. Drug-related crime can either be something involving illegal distribution, or a crime committed by someone under the influence of said drugs. The first case only exists due to drugs being illegal. The second case is the result of someone using them irresponsibly, and will occur whether they are legal or not (just like how irresponsible/criminal gun use isn't significantly affected by gun-control laws, which was my original point).

As Americans no one should tell us what to do?

We lack sufficient oversight over the officials who are supposed to be "accountable" to us. A large, central, federal government can't be accountable to everyone since it's impossible to please everyone. While it still doesn't please *everyone*, you can please *more* people by localizing authority at a lower level around the people who more directly elected them. That way, I have the option of moving somewhere else in the country when my local government bans guns, thus letting me make more choices for myself instead of them being made for me (freedom). Also, what if it wasn't just me who moved away? Maybe 95% of the people in my area move with me. The area we moved from would be forced to take a hard look at how more popular areas do things if they wanted to survive (a *market* of ideas).

My question for the new CNC would have to be, "Since you hate Americans, American Laws, and do not consider America to be a Nation, but rather just a geographic location, then why don't you just go home to the country of your birth, Kenya?"

I have never heard him say one single thing against his African Paradise, why doesn't he live there?

There are some communities that do that and they don't have many fires!

Kbear I don't disagree with your opinions or agree with your opinions... I just want to point out, what I find humorous, the incorrect usage of the word "Commie". If he was a communist he would want MORE public services, not less.

    What is your point?

As Americans no one should tell us what to do?

As American Citizens, we should not allow the rest of the world to tell us what to do.

    This is our Nation.

They have their own land, let them live in it, and they had best stay out of ours!

I went to that site ... here's what they have to say on their "respect" for the 2A ...

Address Gun Violence in Cities: Obama and Biden would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent.

That doesn't sound like anybody I'd want to vote for ... people need to face facts; we are in trouble with the current administration. Obama says there's no need to stock up on guns and ammunition; don't believe him. I just bought a high-cap 9mm and several extra mags and am stashing ammo as I can afford it ...

If you just now bought a pistol and extra mags, you are running about 6 months behind. I suggest start eating nothing but Ramen and put all your money into guns.

"Are you familiar with the adage, "Some people fail under capitalism, but under socialism, we all get to fail together." ?"

Dissent is not tolerated, comrade. Your penance shall be resolved by the unconditional surrender of your arms, and an indefinite stay in the coffee line.

...and to think, I once used material like this jokingly. :(

Not trying to beat a dead horse here but the reason while marijuana legislation is so important is because of all the money and resources that are wasted on it. For example the government spent 12 million dollars in a sting to bust Tommy Chong (you know for Cheech and Chong) for selling bongs on the internet. And what does 12 million dollars get the tax payers? Well it put Mr. Chong in prison for 9 months. I don't know about you but I'll sleep alot better knowing that this bong peddling scum bag is off the streets.

The bottom line is we are waisting billions of dollars on the "war on drugs." Don't get me wrong I don't support drug use and I don't think we should legalize everything. But it's something thats needs to be addressed because what we're doing now is not working.
