What the **** is wrong with this country . . .

Under Bush the right seemed willing to trade parts of their civil liberties for security

Under Obama, the left is willing to trade part of their civil rights for Mexico's security.

1st: AG Holder wants to reinstate the failed assault weapons ban and starts the news cycle getting every single act of firearms violence in the news and starting the focus on Mexico's eternally failed system of government.

February 2009: Holder calls for new AWB

2nd: Obomba calls for the formation of a national police force and begins training US troops for in country urban operations.

3rd: Janet Nalpolitano issues a report that labels all gun owners as right wing extremists who are dangerous and should be watched.

Dirty Janet's Report on Homeland Security - Gun Owners are Dangerous Right wing extremists

4th: The ATF is already contacting firearms dealers and trainers and asking questions about the identity of the people taking training classes.

5th: Supreme Court Justice Darth Bader Ginsberg, long time globalist, calls for the Supreme Court to defer to foreign law and foreign courts.

New York Times Article regarding Darth Bader and her proclivity deferring to foreign rulings in US Constitutional cases

6th: Obama calls for ratification of a treaty governing small arms and ammunition that will supersede the 2nd amendment

Obama Calls for the Ratification of Small Arms treaty

CALL your Senators NOW & Oppose this treaty!

Wow, a video with about a 10 second clip from a speech wrapped up with 2 minutes of a little girl singing and video from Hitler's family video collection. You'd think by now people would have the balls and brains to push something that has substance, not more cheap "sheep trainer" out of context sound bites. There' plenty of good stuff to work with, but not as good as manipulated crap for the weak minded.

I'll pass on the rest...... Politics is what it always has been and every American needs to pay attention.

BTW, I don't see where language like that on a public forum such as this one has any impact to the message. Although it may provide a little insight as to the source?

I remembered when he said this. Talk of the Brown Shirting of America and our fellow Americans didn't care. OMG, I'm enlightened, I voted for someone due to their skin color, or lack there of.

As I do not suffer from White Guild, Wealth Guilt, or Social Guilt, it was easier to see that man for what he is.

The Obomination has daily made unwise, uncouth, and un-American decisions. I have no concept or idea when middle and right America will awaken, or if they will, and end this idiotic, anti-Christian, anti-American Republic push toward his socialist, Godless, possible moslem dream he is continually pursuing madly from day one of his inaugration, Jan 20th.....

How effing long are the "sheeple" going to put up with this killing our Nation ?

    JKTex,

I apologize if my language and the video offended you.

However, i find the fact that you are not offended by Obama's call for a new AWB to disheartening.

However, i find the fact that you are not offended by Obama's call for a Small Arms treaty that would gut the 2nd Amendment to be amazing Obtuse.

However, i find the fact that you are not offended by Ginsberg's call for foreign law to be a part of american legal reasoning to be sad.

JKTex, you are offended by the wrong things and that . . . . is typical of someone who focuses more on offensive words that the content of the message.

I am starting to see a trend here in several of the newer members. This is not glocktalk, or xdtalk, or any of the other firearms related sites. Clean language is a courtesey and a way we set ourselves apart. The degrading of another member on a personal level is also frowned upon. We may have our civil disagreements, however you need to try and keep them just that, civil..... We are all very aware of the current political climate, and very frustrated as well, however by expressing your frustration in the way you are, you are playing into the hands of the anti-gunners. They point to this and say "look at his language... evidentley uneducated, look at his arguments... how outlandish...." The way we are going to make an impact is by continuing to maintain a cool professional demeanor... Please watch the language, watch your conduct towards other members, and remember, the individual in a stressfull situation who makes calculated decisions and keeps a cool head is the one who comes out victorious. If you have something positive to contribute, please do so, if not, feel free to post elsewhere.

So are you saying that my post was not a positive contribution to the political discourse?

Jesus. Maybe you should rethink what you are saying and maybe you should contribute something positive to the political discourse in this thread.

I suppose that you would not support the treaty?

I did read your post. It didn't comment on the subject of this thread.

I truly am amazed that the Bushites were willing to trade some of hte protections provided by the bill of rights after 9-11 and that the FOOs are willing to trade different rights to follow Obama.

I'm already sick of Obama and the followers of Obamma. they wanted change and they are going to drag all the rest of us right along with them for this change.

    And i'll add something else:

I also have a "No Shrug" policy when it comes to gun control legislation.

Tom Gresham is right about that.

    I'm not compromising any more.

I'm not accepting "Rasonable" restrictions on our gun rights any longer.

I'm not being nice about it any longer either.

    I'm done.

    I'm fed up

    I'm mad as hell and

I'm letting the politicians know it.

Cool . . . after JK-Tex's snide comment I figured his post was directed at me.

Don't want to start fights as the main issue is what Obama plans for us and our constitution.

    Thanks, SC. Darn good post.

I am re-reading Bill Shirer's "The Nightmare Years-1930-1940." He was a US reporter in Germany during Adolph's rise to power.

Man! I see parallels to Obama/Hitler on each page.

I'll ignore all the rest of the poopoo but I'll say..... You'll only start fights if you start them. ;)

My comment was sarcastic, yep, no doubt about it. A well placed hell or damn is one thing, the language you used is beyond that and that's what you resorted to before you even got into your post. They say, when one has nothing intelligent left to say, they resort to cursing and name calling. I merely made a comment as to the language which is out of character for "this" forum.

If you really want to be taken serious by those that don't take instruction on what to think, like many of the marching mob do, post something of substance. If what Obama said in that speech was important to the subject, then post the whole video of what he said. All of it, not a 10 second sound bite wrapped up in over 2 minutes of Hitler antics. If the speech didn't need to be dressed up and the context twisted, it wouldn't make good propaganda and embellished drama though. Think about it.

Now, if I recall that whole speech, and it's been a while, that 2 minute video clip takes it out of context. It makes for good mob food, but not very productive. If it's not what I recall and it weren't out of context as in that Hitler clip, then your right, it would be scary as hell.

If you post political stuff, not everyone will agree with you. That's what makes it worthwhile to discuss if it's important, and if it's done like adults and with tolerance of those that have opposing ideas. It also requires a little less sensitivity. ;)

TBH, I took DirtyD's post to be directed at you, too JK. You might not mean to, but you come off as snide and haughty sometimes. Mocking people and being sarcastic isn't the best way to influence people to correct their flaws...

I want to first say, regardless of what anyone thinks of the topic or the thread or anything else, I think it's disrespectful to the OP for his thread to be sidetracked like this.

SC-Texas, for my part in this, and it seems between you and I we inspired some odd banter, I apologize to you for your thread being hijacked like it has. I don't know why it didn't, but I think this stuff should have gone offline already. But I will admit I'm glad you got rid of that silly video.

    M Sage
Yes, it is sarcastic and said I was, but it was about the video clip and it's author that SC has now removed. And ya, a little sarcasm reserved for SC for posting such a video.

I'm not here to correct anyone's flaws. Who are any of us to judge someone as flawed? But since you brought it up and seemed to be supporting DirtyD, here in the forum I'll only say that DirtyD (no disrespect to him as I think understand his intent) was way out of line scolding another member the way he did. Especially the last part, unless he's bought the site, which then he might entitled to say, "If you have something positive to contribute, please do so, if not, feel free to post elsewhere." :p

As a Moderator, if you took issue with anything or anyone or rules were violated, it would seem you'd be the one taking the appropriate action. It's been made clear, members don't scold members, they report them to Admin/Mod's for action if appropriate.

As for your reply to me, I think the highlighted parts of Dirty's scolding and my unedited original reply speak to the "who" the target of the smack down DirtyD was giving. Although it's completely irrelevant.

If I've misunderstood your reply, I apologize. If not, I think this belongs in private. Unless I'm getting banned.
