OC in Arkansas

I know our LTC is good to go in Arkansas but it seems that OC has been a gray area for a while now with a few news articles I've found stating that the AG says that it's good but I've found a few forum posts of folks being confronted up there about it. I'll be traveling to Mountain View/ Mountain Home area for a few days mostly hanging around the National Forests up there.

Has anyone who likes to OC traveled in Arkansas recently?

I spend a good deal of time in AR, as we have a lake house in Hot Springs, and my wife is from there.
I do conceal carry in AR under the reciprocity with TX.
But IMO, open carry is one of those "you might beat the rap, but you won't beat the ride' situations.
Personally, I pass ... lots of those hillbillies make their own rules as they go, particularly when driving, that's enough for me.
