The IDPA/TSA folks at the Ft Bliss Rod & Gun Club are having a 3-gun match on Sat, October 27th.
Bring your pistol (with a holster that covers the trigger guard), your rifle/carbine and your shotgun. 8:30 sign-in, 9:00 safety brief/stage walkthrough/match start.
If you shoot the match clean (no misses), you need 112 rounds (having extra ammo and not needing it, is much better than the other way around):
40 pistol (4 clays, 22 steel, 16 paper)
32 shotgun birdshot (6 clays, 26 steel)
40 carbine (2 steel, 38 paper)
Stage diagrams are in the Files section at the Ft Bliss IDPA Yahoo Group (Yahoo ID required to view files).
You're welcome to come and watch the match (hint: bring your guns and ammo anyways). If you don't have a shotgun or rifle; bring a friend that does! You bring the ammo, he brings the guns. If you don't have a friend (with extra guns), come help set-up (7:45-ish) and make some new friends (PS bring 223 Remington and 12 gauge lead birdshot).
Assistance with stage set-up and clean-up is always appreciated.
