    Agreed. I wouldn't expect much from your average Joe Blow, but I would think most officers would be much more aware.

    Especially at gas stations while pumping. That's just one of those places most people are ripe for the picking. There is potential for lots of distractions.

    Cops aren't super human. While you would think they are suppose to be more aware, they are just like us. Sticks any one would have to experience this.

    Some cops only have a pistol because they are required to. Some just have desk jobs. Not all are proficient or situationally aware at all.

    The really surprising part is someone carjacked a Nissan Versa.

    How bad is Plano now? Only been once and it didn't look that bad. One of the reasons I hate going to the DFW area. And when I am getting gas in Dallas, I never let my guard down.
