    One of the finest motorcycles ever built.

    In the early 80's? EASY RIDERS tested one (near Philly? If I recall?)

    136 or 139 mph in a measured mile.

    108mph in a measured mile with......a SIDECAR & a PASSENGER!

    Used to be a gentleman up to Brookvile, Pa....by the name of "Doc Chalfont" that was one of the few men who could rebuild them properly.....

    I ran a '48 Chief for 20yrs. Had the distributor model....
