    The Valkyrie was (and one still is) immense. I saw a photo in a book years ago of a technician walking through the air intake for the engines. Looked like he was walking down a steel hallway.

    Incredible to contemplate something that huge being that graceful and capable of speeds over mach 3. And designed in the late '50s with slide rules.

    One of my favorite aircraft. Need to get up to OH to see it on display.
