I tried to find one of Curly with more hair - when he was younger he was apparently known for his head of thick, wavy dark hair. And was quite the gifted ballroom dancer.

Samuel was originally the third Stooge with his brother Moses and with Louis when they were a Vaudeville act, but he followed a different opportunity when the act was offered a movie deal so they brought the baby brother in to fill the empty spot. I lot of folks dislike Shemp because he replaced Curly, but the truth is Curly was the replacement.
