LtC Dick Cole, the last Doolittle Raider with my Mrs at his 102nd birthday party at our VFD hall. She first met him at our fireman’s dance about 20 years ago. He heard she had been an Air Force pilot and chatted with her about flying for a couple of hours and never told her who he was. View attachment 223353

I'm just guessing that this is not what they call a survivor car.Extrication of a drunk driver from a Corolla on Valentine’s Day. Got his passenger out quickly but it took a long time to get his legs clear. When the PoPo arrived he was still drinking from a red solo cup with alcohol, blood, and glass in it.

Back home had a buddy with a Porsche 914. I was with him the night he wrecked it. Black ice at about 70 mph, spun before hitting a curb that set it airbourne into a tree. We both climbed out unscathed. The tree hit on my side. Coolest wreck I was ever in!Extrication of a drunk driver from a Corolla on Valentine’s Day.
