Stolen from the book of faces.

RAAF/RMAF Butterworth c.'75 : Slightly 'quirky' shot :) . FLT LT Mal Hurman waits, under a traditional oil paper parasol, in his based Mirage IIIO, as F-111C A8-125 taxies out. She was here as 'Rent a Threat' on TDY from RAAF Amberley to take part in an IADS Exercise under the (then) 5 Powers Defence Agreement (FPDA).

The original AV-8A Harriers that were delivered to the Marines from Hawker-Siddeley each came with its own bumbershoot to shade the cockpit.

There is a video out there where some Taliban/Isis/whatever fired a recoilless rifle in an apartment. Priceless.
One of my senior NCO's when I was a green PFC had served in the Korean War, he told me the North Korean army put a recoiless rifle in a bunker , it fired only one time it touched off the ammunition stored in the bunker there were no survivors

Back when I was working & walking the dog @ 3:30 am I use to see them hunting frogs out of mud puddles inside the loop of Houston. It wasn't hard to find the trees they nesyed in for the volume & stank of their feces under the nest.
