Steel Challenge today. I like his face he makes when he is finished.

(Husband trolled the March For Life Facebook page with this video, saying that his kid is spending his time today exercising his 2A constitutional rights instead of marching against them)

    FINALLY!

9year old twins got out to the range. 10/22s are still a bit big and heavy, but we managed.
Started them on the 10/22s, borrowed a PK380 and G42 from a neighbor and they fell in love (with the PK380), and let them have a few rounds on a LWRC with factory trigger

I don't feel like uploading vids, so just imagine them holding the aforementioned guns, imagine the bang bang sounds. A little yelling, a little enthusiasm... 86b4a539a3329541eedf465e15ebb2bf.jpg 9b6cb0b9270c8877a1fc20b4073e1a76.jpg

No! Post the vid or you're a little b . . oh yeah, kids.

We would love to see the vid, it may even encourage other youngsters to try shooting. :)

    Good job rman.

I bet they would love a 22 pistol next trip. My kids sure do.

Lucky dad and lucky kids. My daughter got into guns at about 8 but lost interest at about 13. I hope she gains interest again. I keep encouraging her to go to the range with me but iPads and high school friends and such are in the way.

Here's a link to a hodgepodge of clips. 1st shot on the 10/22s, first shot on AR, first shot on 380.

with the AR, my "white" twin says he's scared about 3 times, fires off a round, and asks "can I do another? " Hooked!

I didn't watch all the videos, but I'm sure you'll hear me yelling at them. 4 kids and I still don't know how to communicate with them lol. I try.

They loved the 380, I think they like recoil the as I do. The 22 would be ideal. I'll never buy a 380 (borrowed PK380 & G42) after buying 100rnds of WWB. What a rip off!

The can't rack a 9 safely yet. Even the G42 was a little stiff, they were limpwristing and couldn't even get the first case to eject.
Thank you! My "white" twin is constantly saying he wants to go again. He's the same one that thought all he wanted to do in life is go fishing, and now it's almost impossible to get him to come out with us. We shall see...

My goal is to get them to love firearms. Maybe not become obsessive like me lol.
But it might help keep them out of trouble, knowing their rights can be lost with foolish mistakes.
