I've done that a time or two with a 10/22 and WD/40, Lysol, spray paint, etc. I find it best in front of a bonfire. Silver metallic spray paint makes some pretty aqua blue and purple flames with sparkles.

I found a #10 can of pudding while offroading out in the desert. Propped it up in a bush pulled out my SKS and put a hollowpoint 7.62x39 in it at 25'.
Pudding splattered and a bit got on my face.
Not a good idea, and it wasn't even pressurized.
