90+ percent of the town of Paradise is burned to the ground.

It looks like a post apocalyptic movie set here. Except that it is real.
Hoji... in the time that you've been there, have you gotten a sense of worthy charitable organizations that are helping those folks?
I'd like to contribute, but I really don't trust the big name organizations.

There was a group of disaster animal rescue people out here picking up pets that were left. Truly doing God’s Work. I gave them some cash for food and such. North Valley Animal Disaster Group

I think the RC is involved with the shelters. I am at ground zero so I am around first responders and the tree crews.

Lots of CalFire, CHP, and local PD from all over the area as well as other FDs.

National Guard is on scene as well. Have seen a couple of MP HumVees patrolling.

You ain't familiar with Hoji's famous "hot-button" issue, are you? LOL
That said--good on Hoji (and all others headed out there to render aid) for doing what it so desperately needed! Respect.

LOL. Now that you mention it ... been awhile since I've seen him post and the inference went right over my head. doh

My experience with Salvation Army has always been good for my contributions.
I saw several of their big box trucks driving through Paradise on Skyway today heading for one or more of the evacuation centers.

Good folks and I don’t have any issues with giving them money.

You can donate to local chapters. Local charities have very low overhead and most go into the community, even the local United Way.
