I read in the current tsra magazine that the department of defence reversed their decision on selling once fired brass on march the 16th. Due to voters calling their senators day in and day out complaining. Is this a typo or did that happen?
It happened almost as fast as the misguided decision to not sell the brass. Several senators got involved and convinced them that selling the brass was okay.
The NRA sent out one of their alerts when it got fixed. You might check their website for the articles on when it started and when it ended. The DOD realized that much of this brass is sold to commercial reloaders who reload it and sell it back to the Army, which is a good thing, since Lake City and other ammo plants are working at full capacity.
