Not so much as "disinformation" but ignored simply because no one really cares anymore. Too much time has passed and all guilty parties are way too high up the food chain and lawyered up. Plus the victims are no longer minors.

Even if Maxwell names names, I seriously doubt any of those names would ever be prosecuted for anything.
