    This a joke right?
Once you get the four positions filled, and dressed of course. Then you will also have filled your memberships ranks as four is about all the interest I think your group will engender. And don't forget those CHL Badges. I know you want them.

I don't see anything terrible about this org trying to find some momentum for growth, although I see a hard road ahead.

I don't care much for dress codes, but I understand the need to look presentable when in certain situations. Rubbed me the wrong way, but I don't plan on being on any board so not really effected. Requiring such a dress code for any future rallies (assuming they can beat the odds) would likely cause membership and attendance numbers to be dismal.

I'm also curious on how you stand when it comes to legislation concerning training requirements. You mention training above, but didn't give much info on the orgs stance on legal requirements.

Different approach. I can respect that. It'll certainly appeal to the center / just right of center crowd as the left has already made up their mind. Do you have a website up and running? At least a blog or something? Would help drive traffic and explain your mission. I like that outsiders think Texas is all cowboy hats. Wish I saw more of them. When you say tie, do you mean a Bolo tie? I wish I wasn't so against suits (the corporate world ruined my respect for them). I trust a guy in blue jeans far more.

Good luck and I'll be interested to see where this goes.

Sounds like a great organization trying to separate itself from what many on the left now think open carry looks like!

My mistake. I was referring to the second post. Don't have any problem with trying to give firearms owners a better image.
