Sometimes I'll carry around the house in my OWB holster and then go to corner store with it because I don't feel like changing to my IWB.

Last time I went though, there were a few people around and I felt like I really had to keep looking around as I was waiting in line in case someone wanted to take it.

I think I'll just stop being lazy and switch my holsters next time.

Not a big deal, I position myself where it would be difficult to take, and also put my arm down next to the gun.

I ask this not as a challange to you, but as a serious question. Have you any weapon retention training?

Probably not since I'm not exactly sure what retention training is, but I am aware of my surroundings.

Good point. When I do OC, it is in a retention holster. I have had some retention training but it was awhile ago. Knife in non dominant hand should solve the problem.

Pretty sure that was part of the LTC class.

Could be, I just don't remember it being called that.

Retention training is not part of any LTC class.
It is techniques to retain your handgun should someone attempt to take it. As a person who has had multiple training classes in retention, trust me when I saw that when a person grabs for your holstered handing all of your belief in your Ninja skills goes out the window.

No matter how you imagine you will keep a hold of that gun, without training you will probably lose it. With OC a retention holster is a must.
Being aware of your surroundings is important, but not enough.
