OpenCarryTexas: Discussion on Gun Rights With Andrews, TX, Chief of Police Bu...

Good insight in to what happened and where the police chief stands.

Seems the arrests usually have a common thread of someone being purposefully difficult.

The OCT guy presented himself well for the most part except when he felt the need to talk about a lawsuit. No need to bring that up, just chest thumping bravado.

The chief seems to be trying to walk a line between the two sides. Don't like his lean towards basing rights on people's emotions but also seems to lean towards trying to make things work for everybody without infringing on anyone's rights.

Hard to know either ones true colors from a phone interview.
