Opinions on damascus steel knives

It was one of the very first folders he made so it's been sold out for about a quarter century at least. But he does make really nice knives.

Based out of Plano. Dont know much else about it. Knives looked handmade in person but I am not a knife guy so I couldn't tell you if they were real or not

My EDC knife for the last couple decades is an old Greenaway Damascus folder. The scales show the wear but I've only had to sharpen it about once or twice a year.

I stay away from pattern welds. Way too easy to screw up and no real benefit. Also they are ugly
