Man Oregon has really gone to crap. I remember not that long ago my friends living there telling me how awesome it was and how everyone just left each other alone. I seriously considered moving there for a while. Now it's just an annex of California. Sad.

Continuing bad news for supporters/voters of Measure 114 from the Bearing Arms blog;
"On Tuesday, Judge Robert S. Raschio had another chance to weigh in on the constitutionality of Measure 114 and once again sided with opponents; telling lawyers with the state Attorney General’s office that a portion of the law dealing with background checks on retail firearm sales will also remain on hold, at least for now."

My mountain was on the eastern edge of WA - I could see ID from above the cabin.

As discussed by the Washington Gun Law YouTube channel Oregon voters are presented with a ballot measure that is promoted one way but will have a very bad effect on buying a gun. While liberal state gun laws are far from Texas it is a good example how the anti-gun elected officials can fool voters to get what they really want.

With the Texas legislature going back in session in January 2023 we need to watchful of what is being proposed for new and/or change to laws.

All I know is that it takes the Legislatures of each State involved to approve it; unknown if USCongress also needs to approve. I know the US has to approve if a State divides (into two separate states) but other than that, I got nothin. I'm just glad to be out of there.

People are buttholes in general. I have grown out of the left vs right battle lately. I vote Republican but it’s only because they know how to say the right things so they can get votes.

This greater Idaho thing is just another attempt to gain votes and I don’t believe it will happen because it’s not a genuine concern to most. Plus it would see so many speed bumps along the way; so much sabotage. Nothing in this country is honest anymore.

I cant speak for Oregon people, but have no reason to think it's different for them.

It is a genuine concern for the conservative eastern part of WA. The liberal state gov in Olympia passes such stupid woke laws and regulations - that it's now to the point that county agencies (in the east) refuse to follow them, or enforce them (in the case of LE). So...when Inslee signs an order re gun control, and the Spokane sheriff publicly says...Naw, we're not gonna do that... then yeah, it is a concern and growing by the year.

Whether or not there ever is a 're-arranging' - doesn't actually matter. People find a way to survive, with or without governmental districting or sanction. JMO.
