Congrats! All the fun, none of the responsibility! Woot!

So the most important question is.....

what is your grandparent name? Mine is Poppy.

I have 11, but could easily hit 20 with my brood.

Congratulations! Welcome to the club. My son and his wife are expecting their 1st in may, a little girl. My daughter has 1 boy and 3 girls, but lives in Idaho so we do not see them too often. New one will live in Hutto, 62 miles from Marble Falls. My wife is plotting the reasons we will need to go to Hutto on a regular basis already.

When they get older load them up on sweets and then send them home. It's called payback to your kids.

    avvidclif nailed it!

My oldest cousin was a pain for my aunt forever. When cuz' first kid turned 5, my aunt and uncle took their grandkid to Disneyworld for a week with 1 rule: Never say no, and made sure the 5 year old was over-caffeinated and sugar hyped when they returned the kid to my cousin. They immediately left after unloading a trunk full of all the crap they bought their grandkid. Aunt & uncle got home an hour later, my cuz had left 3 WTF voicemails about what grandma/pa had done to the 5 year old.
Grandma called back, and said 1 word to my cuz, then hung up: PAYBACK!!
(It took cuz about a week to get the kid back in line. If you knew my cuz, you'd wish it was 2 weeks)

We'll be doing this with our oldest grand daughter in ~ 3 years.

Mother's curse "I hope one day you have a son just like you!"

When they giggle and wrap them arms around your neck, you really don't care what they call you.

    Congrats!!!
Grandma will goto great lengths to ensure the grandkids are spoiled....possibly to the detriment of your bank account!!!

Have 5 grandkids now, maybe two more in the next year.

Still have 2 more daughters to get married off.

Camilla was just born about an hour ago, 6lb 12oz.
It’s been a long time coming. We were just about to adopt a grandchild, lol.
Our daughter and granddaughter are both healthy and doing well despite exhaustion, and proud son-in-law is standing guard duty.
Congrats to all and wishes of good luck, excellent health, prosperity, and a long happy life to Camilla.
