P226 X-5 Range Report

    so since i'm furloughed today with all the rest of the non-essential federal employees

    thought i'd take my new P226 X-5 to the range

    really nice pistol - i like it a lot

    it's a HEAVY pistol - and its weight absorbs almost all of the recoil - this is about as smooth a shooter as i have. still need to work on the accuracy a bit as you can see by the target - but those bad rounds are me - not the gun

    Nice!

    I'd never seen one of those before, but if I were going to buy a Sig today, that is definitely the one I'd want.
