    Thanks for the input grumps. I drove an 18' with the 10 speed and V8 last weekend and it was smooth and powerful. I still want to drive a 2.7 ecoboost just to see if I can live with it over the V8. I know the 3.5 Ecoboost rocks but I'm thinking long term economy cause I really don't tow or haul all that often.
    If it can carry 30 bags of deer corn(12-1500 lbs.)comfortably it's all I'll ever need in a truck. I'm trying to stay with the 18s since they were using the 10 speed with most configurations. I agree with the tailgate comment too, the higher you make that rear deck the harder it will be to load and unload. It seemed like they have been getting slightly lower the last few years. A trend that I hope continues.
