    Hardly.

The thing is, the “McCain campaign” is not a person; it was a bureaucratic organization, and an uncommonly confused and dysfunctional one at that. Perhaps the greatest mark of that dysfunction was the stream of unnamed McCain advisers who went out of their way to criticize Palin in remarks they were too cowardly to deliver for attribution.

My take on the McCain campaign is that either it was not interested in winning or very stupid. The Republican party has large numbers of eastern elitist who believe much like liberals on many issues they are in fact Republicans in name only. I believe some in the McCain group wanted it to fail and were jealous or feared Palin she was to be a window dressing for the campaign but once they had her found she was liked by the public and that is when it went bad.

If you aren't from a major city DC,New York, etc. you are viewed as a redneck, Bush himself made remarks about Palin coming from an "unknown backwoods", so it would seem if you aren't "old money" your not worthy and this is the very reason we need common people in office who use actual American values to eliminate the corruption, not saying it will happen but I can dream..

Let the McCain staff weaseling begin...

Top aides to Sen. John McCain’s presidential campaign hit back at Sarah Palin Friday and Saturday, calling the former vice presidential nominee’s soon-to-be-released book “revisionist and self serving” “fiction.”

And they wonder why the GOP lost touch with the conservative "common" man. In-fighting and mud-slinging within your own party OVER THE PAST is really going to get you back on track. Morons

The RNC was trying to cram McCain down my throat for a few years before his FAILED campaign for the oval orifice. I didn't like him then, don't like him now, and he is the first republican in years I refused to donate a contribution to. However I did vote for that capitualting limp wristed mincing butt buddy of the left wing. If the RNC puts another one up there in three years I'll vote for the Libertarian. I always gave the republican a vote so a dem would not get in, but those days are over. I tired of voting against someone. I want a candidate I can vote FOR. MadMo for president.

Hawg if I were elected there would be massive change.
In the 1st 30days a constitutional convention would be held.
Can you imagine how the left would scream and wring their hands!!!!!
In the 1st 6 months Cali would be fenced and turned into the counties largest maximum federal prison in the world. Residence have a choice of staying or leaving - LOL!!!! This would be necassery because we ain't playing no more with the drug cartels and illegal immigration.
My goal is simple this is America and if you don't like the way the founding fathers intended it to be well get the hell out!

The elite in both parties have nothing but contempt for working class people.

Another thought, if Palin was black, single parent,Muslim,or other on the
minority ladder built by liberals would all the talk about her be consider
    hate speech.

I suggest reading about Steve Schmidt, McCain's Campaign manager much easier for me after reading his views why he disliked Palin and perhaps the reason McCain lost,,thinking more like a liberal then conservative.

McCain lost because he was an ineffectual candidate.

I agree however the people he hired to run campaign are worth a look in this way you can see the type of republicans we face and what needs to be done in replacing them with true conservatives.
I certainly don't support McCain, Graham, Snowe and other closet liberals.

    My friends,

A "civil war" is underway in the GOP which is a good thing. Palin represents the "old" breed in a very attractive way. This "old" breed, often referred to as "conservativism" will win out. Why? Because Obama and the socialists in their attempt to fight "Mother Freedom" will ensure a conservative victory. We must simply keep informed, advertise the conservative agenda, and in 2010 VOTE!! The recent elections in NJ and Va showed that Mother Freedom is beginning to shake her fists.

And to that I cannot understand why they just don't go to the other side? I mean, what's the point in remaining a RINO...to say that you're close to the "middle of the road"?

I would respect them more if they simply would do that, it seems to this old timer the elite of both parties become more anti-American,anti-Christian everyday, certainly they no longer work for us.

I'm just dying to agree with you, but ultimately I can't. IMO, political correctness (and how it affects every issue) has such a grip on the Republican establishment that "old breed" conservative Republicans will simply not garner any support. From the general public they'll get support for certain, but among the Republican political establishment, forget it. I'm seeing a dying party.

#1 McCain, the douchebag, never came to Palin's defense

#2 McCain attacked DOHbama with kid gloves. My cat could have done better.

#3 The lame losers that ran McCain's campaign are hoping the blame sticks to Palin so they can get rehired by someone at some point.

The political correctness is one of the major issues which the "civil war" in the GOP will put to death....at least I hope. BTW, the "old" conservative breed simply does not acknowledge political correctness, and as soon as the GOP recognizes that the better. The American public, not the "lamestream" media, is hungry for straight talk, particularly after having been introduced to the Obama shitbird.

You nailed it, on all three.

Like someone posted in this or another thread. It's almost like McCaim wanted to lose.
