Some folks think the liberal (Dem) obstructionism and witch hunts are merely because of Trump. And that everything in DC will go back to "normal" once Trump is out of office.

Personally, I think that any future conservative Republican president is likely to see the same sordid treatment - calls for impeachment, slander, blind opposition, etc. I think the leftists have completed their takeover of the Dem party.

We can only hope that the few remaining Dems not on the extreme left will start voting differently.

Our society has normalized bending over backwards and walking on eggshells. Not like most politicians are men anyway, but a real man would just get himself in trouble these days. Take the criticism from the left and throw it in the trash where it belongs. This country now focuses on emotional issues over jobs or actually getting shit done.
