    A Parker Co. Sheriffs Deputy was allegedly shot in the foot by an illegal deer hunter a few days ago. They had a hefty reward out for this guy.

    Today it was reported that he actually shot himself with his back-up .380.

    Whoops!!!!

    Shouldn’t a warden have been the one to inspect it? I didn’t read the article but I’d assume a warden would have more knowledge on how to approach a hunter/poacher safely

    There was an illegal deer blind and a hunter spotted some time before, but the call came in as an illegal trespass, which is Sheriff's department jurisdiction.

    This does solve why they weren't able to locate the shooter, though.
