While traveling back for San Antonio yesterday, Stopped in Sequin for supper and then stopped in at the Cash America. Sitting on the rack was a Ruger 44 Carbine in about 75-80%. It came home with me. :D 1982 manufacture based on the serial #.
With a little rem oil and 0000 steel wool it is now closer to the 85-90% and a smooth action.
I think it was a nice addition to the fold for $250+tax.

They also have a S&W Escort (mdl 61-?) for $159.00 that I should have picked up.:(

Pictures are forthcoming, I have to spend today and Tues in San Antonio so it should be wednesday before I can get pictures up.

I love the small town gun shops and pawn shops. You can find a little bit of everything there and usually at a decent price.

I'll have to allocate some extra time next trip to the folks' house in Lufkin - plenty of pawn/gun shops between there and DFW...

If you're traveling through Seguin, the place to look would be Seguin Guns and Pawn back torward the courthouse. It is about a block off of Court Street (the street where the HEB is on old HWY 90) on Gonzales Street near the corner of Milam Street. Just google it and you'll be able to find it easy.

Ask for Richard when you go in...If he doesn't have it, he'll find it.
He's the only really good gun shop right there in Seguin for used weapons...otherwise check out KDF Inc. on HWY 46 torward New Braunsfels if your looking for top notch hunting rifles...if your looking for an older Kleinguenther rifle or custom rifle.

KDF is a pretty good repair shop too, but know your price when you go and stand to it.
