I'm no huge fan of Paxton, but this seems like a good move:

TLDR - He says the Feds aren't keeping their agreement with the state and endangering Texans.

Yesterday you ordered a blanket halt on nearly all deportations of illegal aliens. This complete abdication of the Department of Homeland Security’s (“DHS”) obligation to enforce federal immigration law is unlawful and will seriously and irreparably harm the State of Texas and its citizens.

Specifically, your memorandum directed DHS to impose “an immediate pause on removals of any noncitizen with a final order of removal [subject to limited exceptions] for 100 days to go into effect as soon as practical and no later than January 22, 2021.”

Upon release I would load them all onto a bus to CALIFORNIA.
That is unfair! Share the "bounty" of illegal immigration. California is mostly too close and easy to get back to Texas. There are lots of states farther away. New York, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts, are much farther and bastions of the Left. Seattle, WA, would be interesting with illegals to clash with Antifa so we could observe how quickly they decide LEOs are a good thing.
