Pelosi objected to the fact that disagreement over the D.C. gun legislation is preventing a vote on legislation to give the District a voting member in the House. To say the least, we regret that the Speaker of the House believes it more important to give the D.C. Delegate a vote on the House floor than to protect D.C.'s law-abiding residents' right to defend themselves from criminals.

DC votes 95% democrat/socialist. Everyone who lives there lives off the government. . . . . .... .

I can tell you from first-hand experience that there are people there really trying hard. It's like trying to convince a brick wall to simply fall over, though...

I know a lot of CA gun owners who went ahead and voted for Obama. Most didn't, but quite a few did. People are easy to trick. Unfortunately, even gun owners are, too.

Yeah, the ones who stayed voted but still an uphill climb. But a lot of others have decided to take a step and get out of there. I don't blame them.

This kind of relates to this topic and I may have said it before, but this story kind of sums up the way Congressmen think. It happened several years ago in California. Congress woman Dianne Feinstein was being interviewed on TV about SUV's. She made the comment that SUV's were dangerous, gas guzzlers that should be outlawed. The reporter interrupted her and said "doesn't your husband drive an SUV?" She said "yes, but he needs his!"
Basically, our Congress believes that we should do without, but they are priveliged and can have and do anything thay want!
