I don't understand why any of the left really scares anyone. Certainly if I believed any on the left could actually beat Trump in the general election, that would be a scary thought. As I see it, the more each of the candidates move further to the left, the farther they move away from the moderate democrats. Moderate democrats are then seen, in their views, closer to the conservatives, so either the right gets their vote or they decide to vote independent or not at all. All of which strengthens Trump's candidacy.
There is a lot of truth to that. The problem is giving the ability vote to illegals and convicted felons and the normalcy of fraudulent voting. We saw it in the last election. Then you have the DNC openly trying to turn FL and TX Blue and the problem intensifies. Add the growing number of people following socialism (take a look at the book in photos at the Antifa protest in Portland) and the next election might be more important than the last one.
Then you have to consider state reps and the inability of Congress to do anything meaningful. Hell, there are still turncoats in the GOP that want to get rid of DT and go back to the way it was.

It's not a matter of actual fear of that (those) person(s), but rather a grave apprehension of possible consequences of what they represent coming to fruition would mean for this great nation. If the thought of this nation sliding (deeper) into socialism doesn't concern you, then you're not moving about with your eyes open.

Of course I have a concern about that, I also believe this country will at some point have another civil war. I just don't believe it will be within the next election cycle. I also have a concern that I will die some day, I'm just not going to let the thought about it worry me.
