I have a refurbished Colt Argentina Sistema 1911 (called model 1927) which is actually model 1911 A1.

From 1947, serial #41494. Frame, slide, magazine and barrel all match with same serial #.
I have alot of pics of this fine 72 year old Colt.

$800 ftf within 30 minutes of Pflugerville or I can ship to your FFL or to you directly if you have a C&R license for $25 insured. Make sure your FFL accepts from an individual. I have a CHL and a C&R license.

Does the pistol function properly?

Any damage other than what appears to be a chip on the top of each grip?

Very tempting, if I get my LTC before you sell it, I may make an offer on it. Then again, I know a buyer can purchase in AR without a handgun license, is that legal here in TX too?

There is no license requirement to purchase in Texas.

Bore is great. Its functions perfectly. It is my EDC now. No chips on grip.

I guess I need not have asked because there is no requirement but if there had been one it would not have mattered, the LTC arrived today.

I bought one in Katy a few years ago for $300. He had 3 for the same price. I am still kicking myself for not buying all 3 of them.
