Picked up my first rifle

I traded a buddy a old broken laptop I laying around for this Ruger 10/22. I really have no idea what I'm going to do with this and I have no real need for a rifle but its better than a broken laptop.

Man that's a cheap plinker toy right there. Even has the optics. You could shoot all day for $30 with it.

Congratulations; the 10/22 is a great little rifle, accurate, reliable, easy to shoot, fun, etc.

Those are extremely popular little guns and there are a ton of optional accessories available to customize/rebuild to suit your fancy. First thing I would do is try to find a short magazine. I personally don't like long magazines protruding below the rifle/pistol. YMMV

That was some trade! What are your plans? Keep it as is? Replace the stock, trigger, barrel, etc? All sorts of ways to go with it.

There are many very fun after-market modifications for 10/22's. Just google it and have fun making a cool little toy out of it!
