Why do some parents pick ignorant names for their children? Nothing like setting them up for failure the minute they are born.
I have a relative who named his son Memphis.

I've known a few people with the name of a state: Montana...I couldn't bring myself to use his name.

Every time I went to use his name, I felt foolish...couldn't do it.

And cities: Dallas in this case, but you never hear of anyone being named Fort Lauderdale or Corpus Christi.

The names that really 'take the cake' are stripper names like: Candy or Tiffany or some other ludicrous stripper name.

Neighbors to my parents were in the medical field. He did an internship @ Cook County Hospital. He said most of the Ghettopotamusses in labor carried on for dope so bad they just gave it to them to shit them up. Then when the kid is out they just couldn't think of a name. So those who were there to deliver the new welfare babby would make up fucked up names, but say them like it was the bomb. Crack mom who just go along with it.
