    That place east of Waco....
Sadly, that is exactly where it needs to end up at. But with states like New York and California, and along with our own president pretty much openly defying the SCOTUS rulings, I'm not so sure that is even a recourse.

Defying can go both ways....especially if the states and local LEOs stand up and refuse to let BATFE enforce those rules.

I respect the scotus. They trump all, and any "president" that defies them is just breaking the law and if you follow their orders, you're breaking the law too. **** unjust laws written by tyrants.
I do as well. As do most law abiding citizens. even if we happen to disagree with their rulings. They should arrested and jailed for contempt of court in the least. But with our current Biden administration, no way are they going to enforce the laws because they are in Democrat socialist states.

Problem is, most of the states where people need to be defying, they are so neutered that they don't even know what the word means, and they more than likely won't do anything.

So here is the question that I have that I can't find a solid answer to. If a pistol with a brace is registered under this amnesty proposal, is it registered as a pistol with a brace (which would be a new category) forever being a pistol with a brace and not an SBR that you could put a stock on? Creating a new NFA category would be a violation of W VA vs EPA. Nowhere have I seen evidence that these pistols would become SBR's. They apparently want you to take a picture of it with the brace on it. Why? It doesn't make sense.

That's a video seems worth watching. The TL/DW version is that he thinks that plenty of these submissions will get looked at and people will be asked for "more information" and then likely subsequently denied, and forced to either pay up or destroy their weapons.

    Wouldn't surprise me.

I was gonna SBR my Ap5 if the brace went to the dark side.

I'm thinking this may not go how they expect. It might be a couple years of legal limbo.
I agree. This is what I alluded to in my previous post. If this goes as described in the Washington Gun Law video and pistols are graded and determined that they are SBR's and would require tax payment, that means the ATF has created a new NFA category of "Braced Pistols" which is not in the original law. ATF does not have the authority to create law and doing so would be a violation of the W. VA vs EPA Supreme Court decision. I am sure that lawsuits would be filed immediately.

Which is why the second amendment was written...
