1. I am not a lawyer nor do I recommend doing anything with anything.

2. One of the takeaways from Brandon's vid is that, as he points out, the penalties for not "registering" your once legal pistol with an arm brace are the same as:
a. Putting a stock on a firearm that has a barrel less than 16 inches/ 26 inch OAL.
b. Employing the use of a drill press.

Nope, just the added perspective. I don't think there is going to be any new information until this "rule" actually drops and we get more "clarification" from our all-knowing betters at the ATF.

I might give them the benefit of the doubt on an AR lower to be able to brace pistol uppers and if they come for it I'm only out an AR lower.

You won’t get any clarification from ATF until they start enforcement actions beginning as soon as 61 days after the rule is published.

Wednesday, May 31, 2023 is the last day on tax stamp forbearance if anybody is going to go down that path.

ATF can being enforcement actions on Saturday, April 1, 2023.
