    San Antonio!
I understand that, which then begs the question of why FPC would assign the recent joiners (like me) a Membership with the effective date of June 1, 2022 - 6 months before the case was filed.

Yeah, I don't see retroactive memberships like that holding up in court...

Either you were a member on 31 Jan 2023, or you weren't. They also publicized that loophole so much it's more likely going to be a case you have to prove you were a member than the government proving you weren't!

Or what if the push to join FPC or GOA was a huge ATF op to get a list of people to start going door to door?
And by joining for protection you really just screwed yourself?

    Ever think of that?

Nope. If the ATF is so stupid to think GOA is harmless then they're too stupid to worry about. Cant speak for others here, but we're on so many lists now - they'll need a list just to list them. LOL

We cover our own protection, by choices made long ago. :)

My comment was purely meant for satire.
I am however growing tired of this whole pile of steaming shit that we must wade thru all because our government wants to take our rights and our representatives didn't do one thing to stop it.
Now we must join this group or another group for court protection and what if the membership date isn't valid?

The fine little details of words written by a communist lawyer at ATF reminds of what the meaning of the word "is"is national discussion

It's just wearing me out thats all

If you weren’t a donating member of FPC or GOA before they won injunction, you can fück right off, and you should not be covered.
If your rights were not worth fighting for when the battle was raging and there was no victory in sight, then why are you so eager to claim them now?

    Exactly how I feel.

It’s not unreasonable to feel that way, but the bone to pick is with FPC’s Board of Directors, since they made the decision.

On the positive side, the additional income is likely to come in handy as this kind of litigation is not inexpensive.
